Education & Background:
Marist College , Class of 2011 – BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Digital Media and a minor in History.
Semester abroad to study social sciences at the University of Amsterdam in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
What is your role at Shero?
My job is to help our clients build eCommerce websites that look great and work just as well. My background as a web designer and front-end developer gives me a unique perspective that I use to help our clients find the best solutions for their online stores. I have a first-hand knowledge of the design, branding, and development process that goes into a successful online store.
What do you most enjoy doing at Shero?
I really enjoy solving user experience problems with our clients. In my opinion, nothing in Ecommerce should ever be confusing for the customer. They should always be able to find exactly what they need, and get through checkout as quickly as possible. Giving the user a smooth and pleasant experience, whether they are just browsing or seriously shopping, is extremely important to me and the rest of our team.
What do you do when you're not working?
I spend my free time with my friends, family, and my dog. I love visiting new places, doing hot yoga or working out at my gym, and watching way too much TV news.
My Cairn Terrier, Ladybug, is seven years old. Her favorite things to do are barking at squirrels, asking for belly rubs, and chasing tennis balls.
What are you reading, watching or listening to right now?
Right now I am reading Queen Sugar by Natalie Baszile. At work you’ll find me listening to podcasts Radiolab, Pod save America, or Comedy Bang Bang! I am currently binge-watching Broadchurch, but my other favorite TV shows are Veep and Mozart in the Jungle.
Where do you most like to travel?
I travel whenever possible! Some of my favorite places are Amsterdam, Vienna and San Miguel de Allende.
