Implicite Lingerie launched their brand on the Magento eCommerce platform, marking the start of an online-only lingerie business targeted toward young, trendy, and adventurous buyers. Already established in Europe, the brand’s US website is designed to woo Americans drawn to the french it-girl style.

The Challenge

As an online-only brand, Implicite Lingerie was challenged with establishing trust with customers who had never experienced the brand in-store. Because lingerie fit and style vary from brand to brand, Implicite was tasked with communicating sizing, style, feel, color, and texture so that customers can be confident in their purchases. Shero started by using the suite of built-in tools Magento has to offer and customized the experience further by extending Magento’s native functionality with third-party extensions and bespoke modules.

Implicite’s goal is to make a splash in the well-established lingerie market by making the effortlessly sexy style of the Parisian woman accessible to Americans.

The Solution

To introduce new customers to the brand, Implicite guides visitors to a Shero-developed shopping quiz that determines a customer’s “Paris Style” in playful categories like “Effortless Sexy,” “Paris Chic” and “Femme Fatale,” and then suggests products for them based on that style. Throughout the shopping experience, these “Paris Styles” are featured to categorize and filter products.
In order to establish confidence, Implicite provides extensive size guides which can be accessed from every page. The size guides compare Implicite’s French sizes against more typical American sizes, and also by measurements to help ensure a perfect fit.
These custom features are built into a sleek and cleverly branded responsive design developed by Shero to compliment Implicite’s bright and sexy photography. Together, they encourage visitors to feel confident and adventurous as they explore the catalog.

Post website launch, Implicite continues to work with Shero for on-going technical support, growth initiatives, consulting, and paid media.
