What a Magento 2 to Shopify migration covers

Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 is the current supported version (released April 2025). Stores on 2.4.4, 2.4.5, or 2.4.6 are either already unsupported or approaching end of support in August 2026. Each version gets three years of support from its GA date. Magento 2 extensions use PHP and the Magento module system and do not translate to Shopify.
