Carriers charge by dimensional weight on large, light packages. A store charging based on item weight alone undercharges on every oversized product it ships. B2B customers often have negotiated carrier rates that differ from standard retail rates. ShipperHQ supports customer segment rule logic so wholesale accounts see their contracted rates at checkout while retail buyers see standard rates. On Shopify Plus, customer tag targeting applies the correct rate tier to each account type.

Multi-origin shipping for multiple warehouses and 3PL locations

Brands shipping from multiple warehouses or 3PL locations need rates calculated against the correct origin per order. ShipperHQ's multi-origin feature routes orders to the appropriate fulfillment location based on inventory availability and proximity, and rates the shipment from that origin. Shero configures origin rules and tests routing across all fulfillment locations before the store goes live.

Delivery date display configured for accuracy, not just presence

ShipperHQ can show estimated delivery dates at checkout based on carrier transit times, fulfillment lead times, cutoff times, and blackout dates. A delivery date that is wrong creates a support ticket. Shero configures the delivery date logic against the actual fulfillment workflow so the date shown at checkout reflects what the warehouse will ship and when the carrier will deliver it.
