Launchpad's automatic revert is what makes it useful for flash sales. Configured incorrectly, the revert logic fails and discounted prices stay live after the event ends, or the sale theme remains on the homepage. Shero configures the full event lifecycle including revert settings and verifies the revert in staging, not during a live event.

CAPTCHA bot protection activated for limited-edition drops

Launchpad can activate CAPTCHA for the duration of a drop event to prevent bots and resellers from bulk-purchasing inventory before real customers can complete checkout. For brands where limited availability is central to the product's value, bot protection is a configuration decision that needs to be made before the event, not after inventory has already been cleared by automated purchases.

Shopify Flow configured for post-event automation

Launchpad handles the event window. What happens after requires Shopify Flow: tagging customers who purchased during the drop, triggering post-purchase email sequences, updating segment membership for retargeting, and flagging orders for manual review if fraud rules trigger during high-volume periods. Shero pairs Launchpad with Flow so the event lifecycle runs end-to-end without manual follow-up.

Launchpad is Shopify Plus only. Discount logic requires Shopify Functions after June 2026.

Launchpad is available exclusively on Shopify Plus. The Script Editor, which handled checkout discount logic for Launchpad events, was deprecated on June 30, 2026. Discount logic for Launchpad events now requires Shopify Functions. Brands that had Launchpad configured with Script Editor rules need those rules rebuilt in Functions before their next event. Shero handles this migration as part of the setup engagement.
