Proud Winners of Two Silver W³ Awards

By Liz Pryor

We’re ecstatic to announce that our work with Atelier Swarovski has won two W³ Silver Awards in the Fashion & Shopping category! The W³ Awards honors creative excellence on the web. They recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind outstanding websites, videos, and marketing programs. The W³ is the first major web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between. Simply put, small firms are just as likely to win as Fortune 500 companies and international agencies.

The Gauge team members who worked on the project include: Mike Cristancho (Senior Project Manager), Christopher Roach (Lead Developer), Ryan Kratt (Senior Back-End Developer) and Jon Jagdharry (Senior Developer). We worked in close partnership with Swarovski, a company with 120 years of history and 24,800+ global employees, to create the new online home of Atelier Swarovski, their recently redesigned fashion & designer jewelry brand.

With project phases dedicated to planning and another to development and testing, we streamlined order management by integrating Swarovski’s existing ERP system with their eCommerce platform. The project features a custom, fully responsive design for a seamless shopping experience on any device; a currency selector feature to allow customers to use either USD or GBP; a custom Content Management System (CMS) to give Swarovski enhanced control over how their editorial and brand content is displayed, and more.

We’re excited and grateful to see how the Swarovski team has fully embraced the spirit of partnership and collaboration; both teams have worked hard to Make the Swarovski Story Great! Keep an eye out for more from this dynamic Gauge + Swarovski duo, as the teams are now collaborating to create a site for another subsidiary company, Swarovski Lighting. On to 2017!
