NASCO Inc. is one of the leading US manufacturers of protective outerwear solutions. Driven by innovation, NASCO sets the standard in their field by ensuring their products evolve as technologies continue to advance and materials become more protective, lighter, stronger, and comfortable. As a future-forward company, they also understand the importance of a strong eCommerce website that can keep up with increased demand, changing products, and the need to educate consumers. 

Goals

The primary focus of this project was to migrate the website from WordPress to BigCommerce with B2B capabilities, and at the same time, create a process for managing inventory, streamline order management and fulfillment, and boost SEO.

Approach

BigCommerce is known for their industry-leading uptime, and combined with a B2B functionality, the platform provided a quick way to get the website up and running with minimal ongoing maintenance and hosting environment setup. 

After a structured Discovery and Impact Mapping process, the main areas of focus became integrating high-performing B2B features such as advanced payment options, shipping rate calculation, shared shopping list, and internal operations advantages like company address book management, roles and permissions regulation, and more.

Results

An SEO Migration Plan was implemented to ensure that any hard-earned ranking remained, while securing a roadmap for future advancement. After a successful migration, the team was able to streamline their internal processes using BigCommerce’s native opps tools and user-friendly dashboards.
