Why Intent-Driven Landing Pages Will Decide Who Wins BFCM

Ad costs keep climbing, and most of that traffic still lands on the same generic homepage or product page it would have hit five years ago. With Black Friday Cyber Monday weeks away, the gap between what your ad promised and what your page actually delivers is the most expensive thing on your site.

Beth Shero (CEO & Co-founder, Shero Commerce) sits down with Yarden Khoushy (Co-Founder & CEO, Jurni), the agentic landing experience platform used by brands including AG1, Jones Road Beauty and Wonderskin, for his read on which pages are converting and how little time is left to test them.

In this episode

  • Why sending cold traffic straight to a discounted product page wastes the click, and what an educational top of funnel page does differently.
  • How persona and creator pages carry the promise of the ad through to the page, and why that continuity moves conversion rates.
  • Which BFCM page types earned their keep last year, from holiday shop collections to gift with purchase bundles and offer-forward PDPs.
  • Where these pages should live, on a subdomain or inside your Shopify pages, and why load speed usually decides it.
  • Why Labor Day is the real testing window, and what happens to brands that push new pages two days before the sale.

Watch the conversation to see the pages that worked.

Episode highlights

Yarden Khoushy started Jurni about a year and a half ago on a simple observation: traffic arrives from Meta, Google, TikTok, ChatGPT, email and creators, and nearly all of it lands on the same static homepage or PDP.

Jurni connects to the storefront for product data, brand guidelines and media assets, and to the ad platform for creatives, personas and hooks, then trains an agent on both. One page live on day one is the KPI the company holds itself to.

The pages he showed, across the funnel:

  • Long-form educational pages for cold traffic, with a cart embedded straight into Shopify checkout.
  • Persona pages, where a busy dad ad leads to a busy dad page.
  • Creator pages carrying an influencer's quotes and media through from the Instagram ad.
  • Seven reasons why listicles, which work across almost every customer.
  • Holiday shop pages that gather the whole offer in one place, and best-seller breakdowns matched to the discount in the ad.

Yarden recommends running these on a subdomain, as Dose does at try.dosedaily.co, since a single page loads far faster in an Instagram in-app browser than a full storefront. What to avoid: testing too late to gather real data, offers buried on generic pages, and pushing code days before the sale. Beth added site speed to the list, and both pointed to Labor Day as the testing ground.

On AI traffic, subdomain pages are usually left unindexed, while pages pushed into Shopify are seeing far more of it, arriving with higher intent and converting better than other organic sources. Nobody is buying through agents yet. Teams can load Claude or ChatGPT skill files and guardrails into Jurni's AI knowledge, and Yarden is offering Shero Live viewers the BFCM skill file Jurni built, on request.
