The Ask

Memphis Drum Shop wanted to modernize its website, expand its product lines, and enhance its eCommerce capabilities. They needed a platform with better functionality, lower operating costs, and a more seamless user experience, along with custom templates, advanced features, and a smooth migration from Magento.

Finding the Solution

Shero recommended Shopify for its reduced operating costs, superior checkout experience, and overall fit with Memphis Drum's eCommerce goals. Shopify offered a more user-friendly and easier-to-maintain platform compared to their existing Magento setup.

Bringing it to Life

Shero executed the migration from Magento to Shopify with custom features built to match Memphis Drum's unique needs. A key challenge was integrating their CounterPoint ERP system, which had no direct Shopify integration, solved via iPaaS. Custom features delivered included the ability to toggle between product images and videos on category pages, advanced Frequently Bought Together recommendations with cross-selling and manual selection, and a custom Grid and List view that remembers user preferences for a more dynamic browsing experience.

Overcoming Challenges

The CounterPoint ERP system had no native Shopify integration, requiring an iPaaS solution to connect the two platforms and ensure smooth data flow for products, orders, and inventory.
