Social Media Design for eCommerce Brands

The calendar is agreed, the pillars are written, and then week two arrives and there is nothing to post because nobody made the assets. Social strategy stalls on production more often than it stalls on ideas. We design the carousels, statics, Stories and campaign assets the calendar needs, and we build them as a template system so your team can keep publishing without coming back to us for every post.

Templates

Built so your team can publish without us

Every engagement produces a set of editable templates alongside the finished assets. Swapping a product shot and a headline should take a marketing coordinator ten minutes, not a design ticket and a three day turnaround.

One system

Consistent with the store, the ads and the email

Social creative that looks like it came from a different company than the website undoes the recognition you paid to build. We design social assets against the same system as the store and the email program, so the brand holds together across the places a customer actually sees it.

65+

Team members

Our designers sit with the strategists, developers and media buyers rather than in a separate studio. A campaign gets its social assets, its ad creative and its landing page from people who have been in the same conversation.

500+

Projects delivered

We have delivered over 500 projects for eCommerce brands since 2010, which is where the templates come from. What makes a social system usable is knowing which parts a client team will actually maintain, and that is learned from handing them over.

We partnered with Shero for the SWAG site development. The dev was highly nuanced, specialized and complex. The Shero team went above and beyond. They were collaborative, organized and professional, consistently setting expectations clearly and usually exceeding them.

What we design

Static posts, carousels, Stories, Reels covers, campaign assets and the templates behind them. Everything gets sized and adapted for each platform you publish on rather than one file stretched to fit all of them.

  • Static posts and carousels
  • Stories and Reels covers
  • Campaign and launch assets
  • Editable template sets
  • Platform resizing and adaptation
  • Brand consistency across channels

Why brands bring social design to us

Agencies tend to hand over beautiful one-off assets and no way to make the next fifty. We design for the second month as much as the first, which means the template system matters more than any individual post in the deck.

01

Editable templates, not just finished files

A campaign set that cannot be updated by your team becomes a dependency every time a product changes. We build the templates alongside the assets and hand them over with the files, so routine updates stay in house.

02

Sized for each platform rather than stretched to fit

A carousel designed at 4:5 and reposted as a Story crops the headline off. Each asset gets built for where it is going, including the safe areas that platform interfaces cover up.

03

Designed against the store, not next to it

Social is often the one channel that drifts from the brand system, usually because it is produced by whoever has time. We design it against the same type, color and layout rules as the storefront, which our design and UX team maintains.

04

Design that answers to a content plan

Assets made without a plan behind them produce a feed that looks good post by post and says nothing as a whole. Where we also run the organic social strategy, the design brief comes from the pillars rather than from a list of dimensions.

05

Built to produce at the volume a calendar needs

A monthly calendar needs assets in the dozens, not the handful a brand refresh produces. Our scope is set by the posting cadence so production keeps pace with publishing instead of falling a week behind it.

06

Launch and seasonal campaigns handled end to end

Product launches and seasonal pushes need the whole set at once: feed posts, Stories, covers and the paid cutdowns. We produce them together so the campaign goes out looking like one campaign.

The reason a content calendar slips is almost never the plan. It is that nobody made the assets.

How a social design engagement runs

01

Brand and channel review

We look at your existing brand system, what you have been posting, and where it drifts from the rest of the brand.

02

Template system design

We design the template set first: post types, layouts, type and color rules. Everything after this is produced from it.

03

Monthly asset production

Assets get produced to the calendar, sized per platform, and delivered ahead of the publishing dates rather than on them.

04

Campaign and launch sets

Launches and seasonal pushes get their own set, produced as one piece across feed, Stories and paid.

05

Handover and ongoing support

Templates and source files go to your team. We stay on for the volume your team cannot absorb.

Invisible Bead Extensions®

Working with Shero Commerce on our migration from WordPress to Shopify was honestly such a pleasant experience. We’d been on WordPress for five years with tons of content and very specific styling, and moving all of it into one cohesive Shopify site was no small feat — this was a genuinely complex, highly technical migration. But they pulled it off on deadline with zero errors and zero issues. Their team showed up with everything we needed: a project manager, multiple developers, marketing leads, email specialists, and CRO experts, all coordinated through dedicated meetings and a real task management system. They also designed several high impact conversion pages so our digital presence didn’t just function better — it looked beautiful too. Since migrating, we’ve seen an increase in revenue thanks to having one simplified, cohesive platform. I’m so grateful for how seamlessly they executed this, and I’d recommend Shero Commerce to anyone facing a migration like ours.“
