Attribute data translates from entity attributes to Shopify metafields

inRiver attribute values stored on product and variant entities need to map to Shopify product fields and metafields. Shero designs the Shopify metafield schema to receive inRiver attribute data correctly from each entity type, specifying namespace, key, and type per attribute.

inRiver entity models change as product lines expand and new entity types are added. Shero provides ongoing maintenance so entity model changes are reflected in the Shopify sync without requiring a full connector rebuild. inRiver integrations often sit alongside an ERP integration where the ERP manages pricing and inventory while inRiver manages the product content layer.
